Making a Move

I have officially moved my computer back to the office.
For more than a few reasons......

this being one of them.

The other reasons:

* I got tired of it being in the corner of my bedroom and cluttering up the bedroom.

* I would spend too much time on it while my kids were watching TV. (lost my mother of the year award- I know)

* I got tired of wasting valuable time with my daily chores trying to figure out facebook....and my friends???

Since I have started the blog, I have tried to stay on top of it- otherwise why have one. I can set my stories to a certain time each day. I can spend a few minutes each week to keep you updated about the boys. If a skip a few days you will understand! It feels so good to have it out of our bedroom- Plus C would mess up my screen and keys and so on....

Thanks for Understanding, and a BIG Thanks for Reading!!!

National Day of Prayer

Today is the National Day of Prayer

Most of You Know I Pray each day. I think that Prayer is a Powerful thing. I feel honored as a Christian that the Nation Recognizes this Day.

This is my Daily Prayer, (it is printed and taped to my mirror- but it has been there so long I have it memorized)

Father, Please forgive me where I have failed you. I know there are times in the day that I fail you each day, thank you for having grace on my soul to send your son for my sins and sickness.

I pray Lord for my Family, B and his safety while he is at work- bring him home safely to us. I pray that every mile he drives your angels will carry him. I also thank you for bringing our lives together. I love you for giving him to me.

I pray Lord for my Boys, that they will have the mind of Christ and can do all things through your strength. I pray that Lord you give them the Terrific two"s & three's. I pray Lord for no strife in the house today between them and me. I pray Lord that you protect them every fall and bump they have today. Father I pray that they both be saved and come to know a relationship with you at a young age. Lord I pray for their spouses, I don't know who they are- but I know you do. Please give those women Godly homes to grow up in and you and your word. I pray Lord that they follow you not be led to the Left or Right, that they stay straight on your path that you have for them.

I pray Lord for me today that you give me strength to keep up with the boys. Give me Peace and Patience with them. I pray that I be the mom and wife that you have called me to be. Please protect us in the house and on the road as we travel. I thank you in advance for your protection over our house- that no weapon against us will prosper. I pray father that every where I go every one I meet today, sees you in me. Let me let Your Light Shine. Amen.

These on My Pray List:

Our families protect our mothers, fathers, sisters, brother's in law, nieces, grandparents, aunts and uncles. I pray each day that they draw closer to God and those that don't know God- that he may draw them to him. My Friend Heather, age 30 cancer, My Friends who have lost babies with Mothers Day coming up, My friend Sarah who lost her 2 yr old baby last year this time. My friends who are pregnant and even our cousin getting ready to give birth for them and their babies. I pray for a list of names from facebook who they have sent me request privately, I pray for my mamaw & papaw and her illness, I pray for B's grandmother and her illness that the Lord give her the mind of Christ, I pray for our nation and the leaders, I pray for our church and pastor, deacons, and their families, I also have a list in my bible from Sunday School. Any others I might think of I just pray for them as I think of that person through out the day.

You might think "I don't know how to Pray to God- or I never have." My friend it starts with a relationship. When you have a relationship with Christ then you just talk to him. Each day I talk to him before my feet hit the floor- then through out the day. Just as you talk to your husband it comes naturally you feel trust, comfort, a shoulder to be there for you- just as it does when you have a relationship with Christ.

If you don't know Christ as your Savior, PLEASE e-mail me so we can talk. Go visit a church this Sunday or visit a friend that knows him. TRUST ME- you will be glad that you did.

I pray that you have a GREAT DAY!!!

What was I thinking??

Right after I spent two and a half hours cleaning our back porch. Ridding it of all the spiders who had made there homes there this winter, and the lovely pine pollen we get here in LA, not to mention leaves, pine needles...I could go on forever. The boys had been sleeping and I felt good that I accomplished a lot. We play outside a lot- we have many toys to play with outside too. I cleaned every toys down with my favorite Thieves Cleaner (all natural). It is wonderful takes black mold off of things and smells great in the process- not to mention your kids, when they put it in their mouths- and they will at my house; It does not harm them!!

Ok on to my mistake. A friend of mine gave me this table years ago, for the kids who came to my beauty shop to color on and use. Well, it has not been used for 4 years nearly. I was cleaning it up and found that it was deep inside. What a great "water table" you know like the ones they sell at the store for $100 plus!! I am so smart and thrifty!! Yeah Right!!

I got it out and filled it with water. Knowing how much C likes to splash water in the sink, tub, you name it- he sees water it is gonna get splashed!

I placed it on the corner of the porch......1st mistake.....should have been in grass. They were so excited to see it and of course C splashed himself completely soaking wet with in seconds!!

Then T asked if he could build a sand castle......2nd mistake......should have said NO!! Then he proceeded to carry the sand with a shovel (small kids one) across the newly swept and spotless porch.....not any more!!!

Then I looked over and saw ALL the MESS!!! I was distracted for a few minutes due to organizing the balls, bats, golf clubs, bowling set, bubbles, sidewalk chalk, etc.. into different "new homes."

I was thinking to my self "Self what have you just done....You have spent two and a half hours cleaning, organizing, and sweating over this whole porch ONLY for it to be completely destroyed in seconds!!"

Then I looked at how much fun they were having and said " Self it was worth it!"

No matter how much I clean the house or pick up toys- IT is a NEVER ENDING JOB!! Just as motherhood is. You never get a day or hour off!! There are the moments you may get away without children, but they are still on your mind 24/7.

And to think one day I will be sweeping that same porch with T's little feet print in the concrete from his 1st birthday. I will be reminded of this day when all the water & sand were here and now it's gone and so are my boys!

So don't worry about the mess- get messy it will wash up and the memories will stay forever!

To be a Fly on the Tree

We were doing a little yard work and the boys were playing outside. I looked over and saw them sitting under this large pine tree talking, ran inside to get the camera and caught this moment!!

Thank God I was able to catch this on camera. I pray that my boys are close when the grow up. I have a sister that is 26 months older than me. We were always close and remain that way. We are totally opposite but from the same parents- just like my two.
We have had our moments, and I am sure my boys will too! No matter what we still Love and Care about each other more than the other one knows!

I just wish I could have been closer to hear the conversation.
What do you think they are talking about??

Yes, that is Clay EATING BARK!!! It has not come out in the diaper yet?? So maybe he was just tasting it??
HE PUTS ANYTHING & EVERYTHING in HIS MOUTH!!!
Got any advice for that???

My Friend Heather

I am going to visit my friend Heather. She is 30, mother of 2, and battling a RARE type of cancer of the appendix. Please say a prayer for her. There is a website http://www.fight4heather.com/ you can visit to purchase a shirt to show her support. If you live in LA you can e-mail me and I can tell you a place you can go by and pick one up. ALL of the money from the shirts goes to her family, she was unable to keep her job during her surgery's and chemo treatments.
Here we are in our 'Heather shirts'.

Thanks for saying a special prayer for her today and for days to come. I cannot imagine what she is going through. It is hard enough to be a mom even when you are well & healthy.
The Lord is Good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in him.

Words that start with B

T has this thing that he says some words that don't even begin with B. Here is the B Dictionary.

Bmayto- Tomato. " My favorite food is cherry bmayto"

Bdraffe- Giraffe " We saw bdraffe at the zoo"

Bgarage- Garage "Daddy lets go to the bgarage and ride the tractor."

Breated- Created " In the beginning God breated the heavens and Earth."

BKing- The car named King on CARS movie "Bking is not gonna win the race because he crashes"

We have no earthly idea where he has gotten this idea for saying B in front of words??? He can in fact say each word correctly- but when he gets in a hurry and is telling a story he just says B. Lately though my husband and I have noticed he is doing it less. Kinda like when he first learned to say "thank you" it came out- "knock new" so funny!! Just hope he does not start Bkindergarten saying it!!

Have a Good Weekend!!

P.S.- my spell check went crazy on this post!!! hahaha imagine that.

My SUPER HERO

My Super Heroes are little in size but big in saving there mama from danger!!
B always tell T take care of mama and C, every time he goes to work. They save me from the perils of scraping food off dishes, vacuuming cluttered carpet, and mostly piles and piles of laundry.
I love my super heroes!!
We bought these pj's the other day at the store and T wanted to wear them THAT NIGHT!! I put them on- and melted. They are just too cute- I am gonna try to get a video of them stretching out their little arms and flying as they run from room to room. T yelling "superman" as he is flying through the room. And C does his best to say "bamaaannn" it is so funny to see him follow T with his arms out. Needless to say it did take a while to settle them down for bed. We might just wear these someday while they play. They have little removable capes on the back.
I am so protected!! And feel so SAFE!!! Wouldn't you??
Do your kids have a favorite 'dress-up' outfit??
