Thank you so much for thoughts and prayers for Parker and the family.
It was a long day, but he did great. He was such a super trooper. He went into surgery at 11:30, got done at 1:30, and came home at 7:30. It is amazing what they can do now.
Everything went well. They were able to fix the pulmonary valve with the balloon with just a little back flow. So it only leaks a small amount back down. They will recheck it in two months to see how well it looks, but the doctor thinks that it will not have to be fixed.
He is going to be hard to keep still for the next few days. He is supposed to take it easy for 3 days for the artery in his leg to heal, but he was already going 90 to nothing as soon as they got home tonight!!! His mom said "You would have never thought he had heart surgery today."
The next three days are the most important for no bleeding, so continue your prayers for him!!
Mollie
